Vayamtech welcomed the new Financial Year 2016-17 with the Annual Maintenance Contractof New Delhi Municipal Corporation. The AMC will be done in 3 modules, i.e., Customer Care and Billing, Work and Assets Management and Meter Data Management.
New Delhi Municipal Corporation with its vision to provide highly efficient services
to its citizens and with a vision of "A Model Well-Planned Metropolitan City", is
adopting Information Technology services to remain informed about every asset and
property in the municipal corporation along with the knowledge of day to day problems
faced by the citizens in respect to the services being provided by municipal corporation
and to serve in better way and in time.
To serve customers better, NDMC wanted to automate the operational systems as cost
effectively and safely as possible. NDMC required having end-to-end integrated IT
system in place to comply with regulatory reporting requirements and operations
like Availability Based Tariff (ABT) Energy exchange, Open Access, SAIDI, CAIDI,
SAIFI, CAIFI, MAIFI, CEMI, CEMSMI, Crew duration by Job, etc., and to meet the DERC
requirements.
HThe solution developed included implementation of Billing & Customer Care System (CC&B) for 1 Lac (Approx.) consumers monthly, implementation of Meter Data Management, Head End system for Meter Reads, implementation of Assets management, implementation of Mobile Work Force management (MWM), Software installation, preparation of a data base and monitoring, Training and Maintenance Services.
The solutions provided by Vayamtech to eliminate inefficiencies from operations, enabled NDMC to reduce costs and maximize the output and reliability of assets. We received a confirmation letter from the Director (IT) on March 31, 2016 confirming their acceptance.
