Successful Completion of the MoHFW Project

Vayam Technologies has received the completion certificate for successfully executing and completing the HMIS Augmentation Project for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India.

The government of India launched the National Rural Health Mission (NHRM) programme with an aim to achieve the grail of Millennium Development Goals (MDG), in which the HMIS played its part as a catalyst in speeding the journey to success.

To monitor and evaluate the impact of its health programmes and provide key inputs to policy formulation and interventions MoHFW put the HMIS in place to keep a check on the implementation and execution of the policies right from the ground level. The NRHM Health Statistics Information Portal, a website providing gateway to a wealth of information regarding the Health Indicators of India, made the information available to be compiled from varied information sources such as National Family Health Survey (NFHS), District Level Household Survey (DLHS), Census, SRS and performance statistics.

Vayam had won this one-of-its-kind project in January 2012. The project was delivered in two phases; SharePoint portal, HMIS application and implementation of SAS analytical reporting tool in Phase-I in March 2014 and GIS components in Phase-II in December 2015. Vayam will now provide the extended Operation and Maintenance Support on HMIS to ensure a bug free system with enhancements and Zero down time of application.

Our effort towards realizing the project has been highly appreciated by the Ministry as our inputs have greatly helped the policy makers and planners in better decision making and glitch free tracking of the entire work process.

Congratulations to the team who have put in their best efforts for the successful completion of this project!
